The Summer Arch Timeline for the Class of 2019:
The Rensselaer Center for Career and Professional Development (CCPD) will be holding professional development workshops and employer information sessions throughout the spring semester for students to prepare their resumes and cover letters, prepare for interviews, and meet with employers and alumni. Please encourage your student to check the February 10, 2016
<a data-cke-saved-href="https://rpi-csm.symplicity.com/calendar/index.php/pid128083?ct=t(Summer_Arch_Program)" href="https://rpi-csm.symplicity.com/calendar/index.php/pid128083?ct=t(Summer_Arch_Program)" "="" target="_blank">CCPD Annual Spring Career Fair will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Armory. Student registration will be through JobLink and is open to all Rensselaer students. Approximately 150 companies will participate and a list of participating companies will be available through JobLink and the Career Fair+ App.
School of Engineering and Lally School of Management faculty advisers will be available to answer questions and provide guidance on how to best take advantage of the opportunities offered by the Summer Arch.
Students begin to research, network, and seek out opportunities for fall 2017 and spring 2018 semester away experiences. Participation in the NSBE/SHPE Fall 2016 is strongly encouraged, as is participation in employer information sessions and other on-campus recruiting activities and professional development workshops sponsored by the CCPD.
Students declare interest in participation.
–Students in the School of Engineering must have completed 32 credits at Rensselaer to be eligible.
–Students in the Lally School of Management must have completed 32 credits at Rensselaer to be eligible.
The Office of Financial Aid will provide a timetable for filing for financial aid to ensure that students participating in the Summer Arch have a financial aid package prior to the start of the summer semester.

Early Spring 2017
There will be a Summer Arch Opportunity Fair to assist students in identifying opportunities for their away semester.
Early Spring 2017
Students participate in professional development seminars that teach them about resume and cover letter preparation, interviewing, and other job search skills. Students continue to research and network for opportunities for fall 2017 and spring 2018.
Students register for summer classes and sign up for on-campus housing and dining programs.
Students attend the Summer Arch semester.
