Rensselaer Kicks Off Its Middle States Institutional Accreditation

Rensselaer has initiated its upcoming reaccreditation process with the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). The Commission is a voluntary, non-governmental, membership association that defines, maintains, and promotes educational excellence across institutions with diverse missions, student populations, and resources, and is recognized by the US Department of Education. The Institute has been accredited by MSCHE since 1927, and our accreditation was last renewed in 2016. Our Steering Committee is led by co-chairs Dr. Keith Moo-Young, Vice Provost and Dean of Undergraduate Education, and Dr. Emily Liu, Professor and Department Head, Industrial and Systems Engineering, School of Engineering. The process will culminate with a visiting team of reviewers in the Spring of 2025.  Additional information regarding Rensselaer’s accreditation with MSCHE may be found here.
