Rensselaer uses the HelioCampus tool for Course Syllabus, Assessment, and Course Evaluation purposes. The Provost requires that faculty put their course syllabus in HelioCampus and students are asked to complete course evaluations in HelioCampus each semester for all courses.
The HelioCampus assessment tool facilitates documenting the assessment cycle that includes: identifying student learning outcomes, learning opportunities to support achievement of the intended learning outcomes, assessments and assessment data used to inform teaching and learning, and plans for "closing the loop".
Login to HelioCampus
All instructors can login to https://aefis.rpi.edu/ using their RCS ID and password. There is also a direct link to access HelioCampus on our RPInfo page under the Faculty and Staff Resources section. Instructors will automatically have accounts created once they are added in our RPI Banner system and assigned a course.
